The Graphic Designer is a part of our Marketing Department at our national corporate offices located in North Kansas City, Missouri.

The Graphic Designer works collaboratively with Marketing and other corporate departments to design communication solutions that have a direct impact on customers, while adhering to branding guidelines.

Primary responsibilities are as follows:

Conceptualize and create customer-focused designs for marketing, promotions, sales support and advertising materials that adhere to brand standards to ensure consistency in producing high-quality branded materials.
Manage projects from design through final sign-off, all within assigned timelines and budget parameters. Evaluate and communicate production needs and specifications ensuring a smooth transition between creative and production.
Develop and maintain day-to-day proactive contact with internal corporate partners during project development to incorporate input and feedback into projects. Develop interactive relationship with assigned external creative resources to work as a creative team and develop marketing communications.
Proofread marketing communications, partner with merchandise department to proofread all catalog listings for accuracy, review proofs and assist with press approvals to ensure accuracy in all materials.
Assist marketing team with development of special projects, such as marketing presentations, public relations projects and procurement materials.
Provide design support to interactive team as needed.
Direct and/or assist with direction of photo shoots.

Our client is seeking a Jr. Web Developer with 1 to 2 years of experience writing C#, ASP.Net, XML and XSLT applications. The 1 to 2 years of experience should be full time development experience, not internships or classroom projects. This is a Junior-level position, not something for a Senior developer.

Our client has a small development team, so this is an excellent opportunity for a Junior developer to work closely with Senior level talent and to work with cutting edge technologies in a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Four-plus years of project management experience, interactive agency setting preferred

· Must have a proven track record of driving interactive development projects

· Familiarity with SDLC and software development preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field required

· Excellent strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills required

· PMP or Six Sigma type of certification preferred
· Self- motivated, goal-oriented individual who excels in a rapid development environment

· Excellent written and verbal skills for multiple audiences; will be client-facing immediately

· Must possess ability to help manage teams and projects within a fast-paced environment

· Travel may be required from time to time

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field and two to three years experience in print design in a design firm, ad agency or in-house creative group are required. Advanced skills using Mac format and graphics software such as InDesign or QuarkXPress, Illustrator and Photoshop required. Flash and/or Dreamweaver experience preferred. Copywriting experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Experience in optimizing electronic files for web preferred. Advanced graphic design, project management, problem solving and proofreading skills required, along with working knowledge and experience with print production.
